Answering those questions...

Right-o! Here are those answers for you.

This is... a dishwasher!!

Ain't it tiny? Okaasan has to run it every day so we can have clean dishes to eat with. Japan doesn't have a lot of storage space, so everything is small to fit.

Answer to question #2 - It's a sushi restaurant!

Where you sit down and the food comes to you on a conveyer belt! You just pick up what you want from the belt. If there's anything in particular you want from the kitchen, you just order it through a touch-screen process.

I ate sooo much, but not this much. Okaasan wanted to make the picture look good so she just started pulling stuff off the line and putting it in front of me. I didn't eat all that stuff, but I did eat three desserts. Yuummm!

And to get rid of your plates - put them down the chute! Under the conveyer belt that brings food is apparently another belt that takes the dirty plates back to the kitchen. So cool!

Next question: What is this? (I'll give you a hint: you can eat it).

Alright, the big post about this past weekend is coming tomorrow! And believe me, there's a lot to say about Nara. ^_^
