Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I am safely in Akita and loving it here. I don't have internet at my house yet (yes, my HOUSE) so I'm typing this from a friend's computer. There will be a huge update when I finally get internet and can upload pictures from my computer, but for now you'll just have to wait. ^_~ Things are going really well here in Akita though. The people are amazing and the area is beautiful, and I am being really well taken care of! I haven't started teaching yet and won't start until next week when their summer vacation ends, but I've been using this time to get adjusted to life here and make lots of friends. Hopefully I'll have internet soon so I can keep you better updated!
