First Entry

Alright, here we go! I will be studying abroad at Kansai Gaidai in Japan for the Spring '09 semester, and I'm hoping to use this blog to keep track of my time there. I also hope to keep you all, my friends and family, informed about my adventures! My flight leaves January 25th so I'm not nervous yet, but we'll see how that changes as the time to leave gets closer.

For those of you who may not understand Japanese and therefore missed the cleverness of this blog's title, "Nihongo" means "Japanese" (the language). However, "Nihon" means "Japan", so "Nihon Go" is kind of like "Japan Go", or going to Japan. See, clever right? I thought so. ^_^
